Matthew Cheadle is a London-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer whose career spans international touring, session work, and music production across the UK and the United States.

Starting as a London guitarist and indie rock songwriter on the city’s club and pub circuit, Matt quickly became one of the most sought-after session guitarists of the late 90s and early 2000s. He toured and recorded with artists including Natalie Imbruglia, Lisa Stansfield, and Paul Young, while also performing on albums produced by Grammy-nominated producer Steve Levine.

In 2004 he relocated to Los Angeles after joining US rock band i-94, where he co-wrote and recorded the album Don’t Get Nervous. The band’s debut single, Go Back In Time, received national radio airplay and reached No.3 in the Yahoo Music charts, ahead of Coldplay and Maroon 5. Their catalogue would later secure numerous placements in television and film.

After five albums with i-94, Matt continued touring internationally, joining acclaimed American-Israeli band Moshav and performing across the US and Europe. During this time he also toured as a guitarist for legendary British singer Engelbert Humperdinck.

In 2010 he founded West13Music, producing music for artists, television, and film while continuing his work as an indie rock songwriter and producer, collaborating with companies including Extreme Music, Atrium Music, and Music Sales.

Alongside producing and touring, Matt has composed immersive soundscapes for international art installations, including the retrospective exhibition Re Birth – The Third Eye for Spanish artist Juan Antonio Guirado in Madrid.

Today, Matt continues performing and recording between California and the UK. His latest project, The Bingo Mafia, sees him revisiting songs originally written in the 90s and reimagining them for a new generation, rediscovering Britpop and guitar-driven indie rock. Inspired by the resurgence of interest in classic British guitar music, the project blends melodic songwriting with the spirit of the Britpop era, bringing those songs to a contemporary audience.

Alongside his production and composition work, he continues to perform live throughout California as lead guitarist and vocalist for corporate events with Jordan Music Entertainment, while also collaborating with independent artists in both the US and UK.
